MAHS Hosts Bingo at GNF

For the second year in a row, Middleton Area Historical Society will host the Bingo tent at the Good Neighbor Fest, August 29-30. The tent is being sponsored by Dupaco Credit Union.

Hours are:

Friday, 6-9 p.m.

Saturday, 1-4 pm

Saturday, 6-9 pm

Sunday 1:30

- 4:30 pm

To play, participants purchase tickets for $1 per game, and will receive a bingo card when they hand a ticket to the table runner. More than one card can be played at one time. Winners will receive a check. Unfortunately, MAHS cannot cash the check.

State law requires that participants need to be at least 18 years old to play, unless accompanied by parents or guardians in the BINGO tent. ID's will be checked. Friends under 18 are not allowed. We are required to abide by state law.

According to State Law:

All bingo players must be at least 18 years of age unless an adult relative by blood, marriage, or adoption, or a legal guardian, is present on the premises.[See s.563.51(13)(a), Wis. Stats.]

A legal guardian is a person assigned by a court of law to be legally responsible for the care and management of another person. Proof of guardianship is required. Babysitters, friends, neighbors, or anyone else not related to the minor are not guardians unless declared as such by the court.
